trees and flowers are like children, in fact, they’re even better!
you nurish them and you water them and you sweet talk to them, but at the end of the day, they won’t let you down, they will come out just as you’ve planned, as tall, and colourful and fruitfull as you wanted them to be.
Greek summers include watering our loved ones’ gardens, cause our gardens need nannies, when we’re gone, just like our babies do.
This is my mother’s work of art. She did the best she could, raising a son and a daughter, but this time, she’s really outdone herself!
The end result is juicy and bright, delicious and beautiful, fresh and exciting! Having taken care of her garden of love, I had to try the freshest tomato salad of the year! And what a reward that was!
